Why my personal experiences can enhance your professional growth
My personal and professional development over the last 40 years has given me a deep insight into the complexity of leadership, the value of authentic relationships, and the power of targeted decisions.
My own professional career has taught me how crucial the GROW phase is for any (aspiring) leader: a period in which one must consolidate, grow, and set the direction for future successes. I offer not only my own experiences and knowledge but also a partnership on an equal footing to guide you through your individual GROW phase.

This phase of "growth" for me began in 1996 at the age of 30, when I entered the corporate world. In the corporate controlling department of what was then VIAG AG, now known as E.ON, I took my first professional steps. After two years, during which I was assigned to various "mentors," I took my first step up and became independently responsible as an investment controller for a VIAG investment in Klöckner & Co AG. The following two years opened the door for me to move to Vienna as Finance Director and take operational responsibility in the Austrian subsidiaries of Klöckner. This change was the start of a new, challenging learning process in operational management. Despite the challenges and the opportunity to reorient myself within a company that was in the process of being completely sold, I was approached by a headhunter to switch to the then very young Austrian mobile telecommunications company max.mobil in the Deutsche Telekom Group as CFO. The decision to dedicate myself to this new role was easy, as it not only opened up an exciting professional future in the telecommunications sector but also offered the opportunity to stay in Vienna. After three educational and exciting years, a chance came up to move to Hatfield near London to work there as the Finance Director for the British mobile telecommunications activities of Deutsche Telekom. This step marked a significant professional and personal development for me and my then young family. During this intense and educational time, I was not only able to expand my leadership skills but also learned to remain authentic as a leader, make responsible decisions, and constantly face new challenges. These experiences shaped me and laid the foundation for my further steps in the corporate world, which I came to greatly appreciate.
